SOUL SAVVY INSIGHT
It’s unfortunate that loss is a part of life. While we all know this to be a part of the life cycle, it can knock us to our knees when it happens to us. The loss of a loved one is awful, be it a person, a pet, or a relationship. How we experience the complex emotions can vary widely. We might feel shock, anger, numbness, sorrow, denial, a sense of feeling lost or confused, or any number of other emotions. It can be hard to share these feelings with someone else, even if they too are grieving. We all have our own ways of grieving, and there’s no handbook on how to navigate your loss. There is, however, support available in your time of grief. I can accompany you in your dark times and offer insight on how you might honor your loved one while sustaining yourself in this difficult season. It can often feel like there’s no hope to ever feel anything other than enormously sad, and that too is part of the process. Learning how to lean into support and allow yourself the space you need to heal are equally important.
It is my privilege to offer support, guidance, and care to those who are grieving. I know what you’re going through and hope it will lessen your pain to have a companion by your side as you heal.
